Miami Grad Transfer Sunny Odogwu Had An 'Amazing' Visit To Michigan

Sunny Odogwu, a former Miami Hurricane offensive lineman, is heading elsewhere for his final season. The grad transfer just wrapped up a visit to the Michigan Wolverines.

Odgowu tweeted late last night after two days in Ann Arbor, saying he had an "amazing" visit with Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan program.

Odogwu, a massive 6-foot-8, 325-pound lineman, has 14 career starts during his three-year Miami career. The Nigeria native finished his bachelor's degree in human resource management, and is working towards a master's in international administration, according to the Palm Beach Post. He announced his decision to transfer back in late May.

“I have enjoyed my four years at the University of Miami,” Odogwu said in a statement released by UM. “I look forward to continuing my playing career elsewhere, but I will always cherish the relationships I’ve built with my teammates, coaches and professors here at ‘the U.’”

Odogwu is now reportedly on his way to UCLA.

He is eligible to play right away for whichever team he ends up with.
