Tate Martell Posts Message Before Ohio State's Game vs. TCU

You'll probably get to see a little of Ohio State freshman quarterback Tate Martell against TCU tonight. The Buckeyes have a no-doubt starter in Dwayne Haskins, but interim coach Ryan Day has liked to give Martell a series or two during games.

Martell was extremely impressive against Rutgers last weekend. The former top recruit showed out both through the air and on the ground.

Ohio State's freshman quarterback spoke to reporters after that game and spoke highly of his teammates and his development.

Martell then took to Twitter to post some more thoughts.

"Two things I forgot to mention in my interview: 1. Coach Day has made me such a better player since I got to OSU. Best coach I’ve ever been around. 2. Dwayne makes me a better quarterback. He’s as gifted of a player at quarterback that I’ve seen. He pushes me to get better," he wrote.

Haskins responded to the message from Martell, saying: "We push each other to be great! Proud of the way you played yesterday! Thanks bro," he wrote.

Well said.

Tate is excited for tonight, too. The Buckeyes' quarterback posted the following message on Twitter:

"Back at it tomorrow.."

Ohio State enters tonight's game a big favorite. The Buckeyes are favored by double-digits heading into the contest against TCU.
