Tennessee Player Appears To Get Caught Saying 'I'm Not Going To Class'
The Volunteers' player apparently wasn't going to class today.
The Tennessee-Georgia Tech game ended at about midnight on Monday. By the time the Volunteers' players got back to Knoxville after their double-overtime victory, it was probably 2 or 3 in the morning.
That means these Tennessee student-athletes had a pretty light sleep night if they wanted to make their classes today.
One player had other plans, though.
ESPN appeared to capture a Tennessee player saying "I'm not going to class" after the game.
The responsible adult is supposed to say you should always go to class.
But occasionally skipping a class isn't the worst thing in the world, and if I was him, I'm not sure if I would've gotten up early to go to my COMM 301 class, either.
The day after a big win seems like an opportune time to show up to class in all of your football gear, though.
