The Vols' signee will be really fun to root for.
Jeremy Pruitt has signed his first recruiting class as Tennessee's head coach. It's a pretty good one.
The Vols' class is ranked No. 20 in the country. It has eight four-star prospects.
The fan favorite in the class might be Jordan Allen. The four-star JUCO recruit has enrolled early in Knoxville, Tenn. and should make an impact right away.
The story of how he landed with the Vols is pretty awesome. He's a California native and thus will moving far away from home.
Allen's mother is sick - she has cancer - but she loved Pruitt so much that she made sure her son ended up with Tennessee. It took a lot of work for that to happen.
The defensive end had to take 31 credit hours in his final semester at Junior College. The average college student typically takes no more than 15 hours.
Wes Rucker from 247Sports has the details:
Tennessee fans (and the rest of the country) will have no problems rooting as hard as possible for Allen. Hopefully his mom will be able to come out to Knoxville and see him play as much as possible.
