Terrance Ferguson is one of the top tight end recruits in the country. Today, he announced a big update for his recruitment.
Ferguson stars for Littletown, Colo.’s Heritage High School. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 220 pounds, very good size for a pass catching tight end at the college level. He has plenty of interest from top schools across the sport.
247Sports‘ composite rankings have him at No. 296 overall in the country. He’s the No. 12 tight end, and the No. 3 tight end in the country.
The four-star recruit put out a top 10 schools list. The Pac-12 is well-represented, with Arizona State, Oregon, USC, and Washington all cracking the list. They’re joined by Auburn, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Wisconsin.

In total, Terrance Ferguson has 26 total reported offers. His in-state Pac-12 program Colorado has offered, but the team didn’t crack the list here.
Florida, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Louisville, LSU, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Oregon State, South Carolina, UCLA, Utah, and West Virginia are among the other big programs that failed to make the cut here. It is unclear whether he’s still considering other programs at this point, or if this list is pretty solid.
So far, only four of the 11 tight ends ranked ahead of him have committed. Cal, Clemson, Florida, and Notre Dame have all added big stars at the position to their growing 2021 classes.
