Texas A&M vs. Kansas State preview:
After a hot start to the season with six straight wins, things went downhill for the Aggies fast. They got demolished by the Crimson Tide and Trevor Knight was knocked out due to injury, resulting in three more losses down the stretch. Knight will be back for the Aggies, which will be a huge boon for an already stacked offense. Will the Aggies be able to rebound after a tough fall from the top?
The Kansas State Wildcats exceeded expectations by winning eight games this year, and they'll enter this bowl game feeling pretty good about themselves. They had a phenomenal season, winning the Texas Bowl would be icing on the cake. The Wildcats will attempt to do just that with a defense that can hang with any team in the country and quarterback Jesse Ertz who's a huge running threat.
Texas A&M vs. Kansas State prediction:
The Wildcats take this one. I think Trevor Knight comes back a little rusty after missing a good chunk of November, and I expect the Wildcat defense to pounce on him immediately. Kansas State will come in excited, loose and ready to play after a tremendous regular season.
