The Oklahoma Sooners have the last two Heisman Trophy winners. Despite change at the position, Lincoln Riley and the Sooners have done wonders with their quarterback play over the last three seasons.

Former Alabama star Jalen Hurts transferred to Oklahoma and has a legitimate shot to make it three-straight for the Sooners.

Oklahoma's offense is one of the most-potent in the nation and Hurts is putting up ridiculous stats.

Hurts is currently the co-favorite to win the Heisman - with another quarterback who entered the season with very long odds for a shot at college football's most prestigious award.

LSU quarterback Joe Burrow leads a re-vamped Tigers offense that has the team in position for a run at the SEC title.

Here are the other players in contention for the Heisman, per OddsShark.

  1. Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow
  2. Tua Tagovailoa
  3. Jonathan Taylor
  4. Justin Fields
  5. Jake Fromm
  6. D'Andre Swift, Justin Herbert, Sam Ehlinger and Trevor Lawrence

Here's the full list.

The schedule will determine how long Burrow stays at the top of this list. Upcoming games against Florida, Auburn and a road game against Alabama.

If the former Ohio State quarterback keeps up his stellar play against top-tier competition, he'll be on his way to New York.
