College football's Early Signing Period opens on Wednesday morning. High school athletes that know where they want to sign, can do so between Wednesday and Friday - a new development that began last year.

College programs will learn a lot about their upcoming roster this week as recruits from around the country sign their letters of intent.

On Tuesday afternoon, recruiting expert Max Olson released a list of the schools that have given out the most offers this year.

Here are the top five:

  1. Tennessee - 440
  2. Syracuse - 437
  3. Nebraska 413
  4. Louisville - 406
  5. Ole Miss - 403

You can see the full list here.

The gap between Tennessee and Stanford is significant, though we've seen both programs find success.
