Rivalry week brought with it quite a few surprises.
With No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Miami suffering defeats this weekend, the rankings are in for some huge shake-ups. While it's anyone's guess as to what the committee will decide, here's what we think will happen when the rankings are released on Tuesday night.
Here are the five teams we think will move up the most after this week:
The Tigers took down Alabama in a stunner, and as a result they should move up from No. 6 to either No. 4 or No. 3 after defeating the No. 1 team for the second time in three weeks. The Tigers are without a doubt the best team in the SEC now.
Stanford manhandled No. 8 Notre Dame on Saturday night, and the Cardinal should see a significant rise in the polls, possibly to right outside the top 10 at No. 11 or 12.
Ohio State took care of business versus Michigan, and with three teams ahead of them losing, the Buckeyes could move up from No. 9 to No. 6 if Miami and Alabama see significant drops.
Washington defeated their rival No. 13 Washington State in dominating fashion on Saturday night. I'd expect them to move up right outside the top 10, around No. 13 or so.
The Tigers currently sit at No. 3, but with Miami and Alabama suffering losses and Clemson putting out a strong performance versus South Carolina, Clemson should be in line to take over the No. 1 spot in the committee's rankings.
