Here are some top 25 teams on "upset alert" this week.
The fifth week of the 2017 college football season gave us a couple of the biggest upsets of the year.
USC went to Washington State and fell victim to Mike Leach's squad, and LSU lost to Troy.
What upsets will Week 6 bring?
Here are the five top 25 teams on "upset alert."
1. No. 4 Penn State at Northwestern
The Nittany Lions are a sizable favorite in this one and most experts will be picking James Franklin's team to win.
Those people, though, should be aware of the following stat:
Watch out, Penn State.
2. No. 13 Miami at Florida State
This would certainly classify as an upset considering the Hurricanes are undefeated, ranked inside the top 15 and the Seminoles have more losses than wins.
But it's a rivalry game, the talent level is somewhat even and FSU seems due for a big performance.
3. No. 9 Wisconsin at Nebraska
Everyone's written off the Huskers since their loss at home to Northern Illinois, but they've rebounded a little bit since, notching comfortable wins against Rutgers and Illinois. Of course, those two wins are nothing to brag about, but Mike Riley's team is playing better.
This will be a night kickoff, the fans are calling for a blackout and Memorial Stadium should be rocking.
The Badgers have to be a little nervous about this one, at least.
4. No. 1 Alabama at Texas A&M
The Crimson Tide have been the most-dominant team in college football and will probably come away with a dominant win in College Station.
Alabama-Texas A&M games have been known to get kind of weird, though.
Maybe this one will, too.
5. No. 2 Clemson vs. Wake Forest
The Tigers have looked incredible through the first five weeks of the season.
A bump in the road will probably come eventually, though. Maybe it won't be a loss, but at least a scary, too-close-for-comfort game.
This one could be it.
