Recruiting is a major part of a head coach's job. With National Signing Day behind us, it's time to take a look back at some of the best recruits to every play college football.

The best recruiters in the game tend to have better teams. Nick Saban turned Alabama into a perennial national title contender thanks to tremendous recruiting, while Urban Meyer has Ohio State consistently at the top of the recruiting rankings.

Even now, Kirby Smart is building a monster at Georgia. The Bulldogs landed seven 5-star recruits on the road to the No. 1 class in the country.

But who are the highest rated recruits for each school since 247Sports' recruiting rankings began in 2000?

We'll go through the best Power 5 programs, and list the best recruit for each program.
