The Big Ten Has Been Outscored 69-0 In Its Last Two Playoff Games

Clemson scoring against Ohio State.

The Big Ten won the initial College Football Playoff, with Ohio State taking home the crown.

Since then, the CFP has not been kind to the oldest conference in America. Big Ten teams have been outscored 69-0 in the semifinals the last two years, with Ohio State falling 31-0 to Clemson tonight.

Michigan State lost to Alabama 38-0 in the semis last year.

Would Penn State have done any better than OSU tonight? The end result would have been the same, but maybe the Nittany Lions might have scored.

Either way, the B1G is going to hear about 69-0 until another team from the conference takes the field in the CFP.
