It's decision time for Ohio State University regarding head football coach Urban Meyer. The Buckeyes are set to announce a decision on the three-time national title winning coach at some point today. Here is the latest on that decision.

The day began with Ohio State's Board of Trustees meeting at 9 a.m. E.T. They quickly went into an executive, private session.

Meyer showed up about 30 minutes into the meeting.

Columbus' ABC affiliate captured photos.

This was surprising to many. It's unclear why exactly Meyer showed up, but it implies that he was summoned there by the board. It seems unlikely that he would get summoned there if a decision isn't on the way. Eleven Warriors then reported that multiple sources were telling them a decision will be announced today. "Ohio State will announce their findings and decision on Urban Meyer's status today according to two sources with knowledge of the proceedings," they tweeted.

A press conference regarding the decision on Meyer could be coming soon, too. Reporters on the scene have tweeted that something appears to be getting set up.

"A backdrop and podium have been set up at the Longaberger Alumni House. Expect a press conference this afternoon announcing the findings of the investigation into Urban Meyer," Kyle Rowland tweeted.

The BOT then appeared to have lunch delivered to them:

The press conference could be coming within the hour.

Hold onto your seats. We're probably going to learn Meyer's fate very soon.
