The Latest On The Recruitment Of Tua Tagovailoa's Little Brother, Taulia

Tua Tagovailoa dropping back to pass.

There soon could be two Tagovailoa's playing college football. Tua Tagovailoa's younger brother is a quarterback recruit in the 2019 class.

Meet Taulia Tagovailoa, the kid brother of the star Alabama freshman. Like his older brother, he's a QB.

Right now, Taulia isn't as big of a recruit as his five-star older brother was. But he's no slouch, either.

The 5-foot-11, 202-pound prospect is a pro-style QB out of Alabaster, Ala. 247Sports ranks him a four-star recruit. He's a four-star recruit and the No. 6 pro-style QB in 247Sports "Composite Rankings."

Taulia has several major scholarship offers and he received another one recently. Nebraska has reportedly offered the 2019 quarterback.

His offer list is impressive. Check it out:

  • Alabama
  • Arizona
  • Florida
  • Nebraska
  • Ole Miss
  • Oklahoma State
  • Oregon
  • Tennessee

There's likely a long way to go with his recruitment, as his offer list continues to grow. But it wouldn't be surprising if he follows in his brother's footsteps. The "crystal ball" predictions on 247Sports has him landing at Alabama. That's where he's been saying he wants to be at.

“I’ve been getting a lot of mail from a lot of different schools, but I still feel like Alabama is where I want to be at right now,” Tagovailoa told SEC Country back in the fall. “They’re looking at me the hardest. They show me a lot of love when I’m there. I’m just always around them."

Taulia has held off from making a commitment decision, though, so maybe the Crimson Tide aren't as big of a lock as he once said they were. Stay tuned.
