The Most-Overrated Team In Sports Illustrated's Top 25

Here's the most-overrated team in Sports Illustrated's new top 25.

Sports Illustrated published today an updated college football top 25 poll.

This poll comes at the conclusion of spring practices and has Alabama at No. 1.

Which team is the most-overrated?

According to ESPN's Football Power Index projections, it's Oklahoma State. The Cowboys come in at No. 9 in SI's new top 25, behind No. 8 Washington and ahead of No. 10 Auburn.

"The biggest off-season win was seeing Mason Rudolph spurn the pros for a senior season in which he’ll start as a Heisman Trophy candidate; going 13 for 17 for 204 yards with a touchdown in the spring scrimmage was a warm-up. Will the defense bolster that campaign?" SI.com writes.

ESPN's Football Power Index projections aren't as high on the Cowboys.

The FPI has OSU ranked No. 26, a difference of 17 spots. The FPI projects Oklahoma State will go 7.7-4.5 and gives Mike Gundy's team just a 4.2 percent chance to win the Big 12.
