Here's the latest on where things stand with the top uncommitted recruits.

We're less than a week away from National Signing Day. The biggest day of the recruiting year is set to take place on Wednesday.

Where do things stand as we approach NSD? Here's the latest.

There are only two recruits in the top 10 of 247Sports' Composite Rankings for the 2018 class that have yet to commit to a school. Those recruits are five-star cornerback Patrick Surtain and five-star lineman Nicholas Petit-Frere.

Patrick Surtain Jr.

Schools still in it: Alabama, LSU, Miami

Prediction: LSU

The latest: "LSU’s coach is visiting 5-star South Florida cornerback Patrick Surtain Jr. on Thursday, his father tells SEC Country. This visit is timed before the U.S. Army All-American makes his fourth and final official visit to Miami ahead of a Signing Day announcement," reports SEC Country.

Nicholas Petit-Frere

Schools still in it: Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State

Prediction: Florida

The latest: Frere was recently visited by Ohio State and Michigan continues to make a big push. The Gators are the favorite, though, and will probably be the pick on Wednesday.
