The former star college wide receiver has been released.
Jaelen Strong's days in Houston are over.
The Texans are releasing the wide receiver, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Strong, 23, was a third-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Strong has had some issues since coming into the league. He has 28 career catches for 292 yards and three touchdowns. Strong was suspended for Week 1 and the team reportedly considered releasing him before that.
At Arizona State, he was one of the best wideouts in the country. Strong was a first-team All-Pac 12 performer in 2014, totaling 82 receptions for 1,165 yards and 10 touchdowns. He declared for the NFL Draft after his junior season.
