A blown fake punt might've lost Ohio State the Michigan game. A blown block, specifically.
Ohio State currently trails Michigan by 10 points, 17-7, midway through the third quarter of today's contest in Columbus.
The Wolverines' latest touchdown came a couple of plays after a blown fake punt by Ohio State. Urban Meyer elected to go with a fake deep in his own territory - and it looked like the Buckeyes might get it - but Sam Hubbard couldn't hold onto his block, and OSU's punter was stopped just short.
Here's that play.
Meyer was pretty visibly upset on the sideline - likely not with the call, but the inability to hold onto the block.
Ohio State and Michigan are playing on ABC.
