Tom Brady On Deshaun Watson: "He's Got A Great Future"

When Tom Brady speaks about quarterbacks, people listen.

Today, Brady was asked about Houston Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson. The Patriots and Texans held a joint practice today before their preseason game on Saturday.

After the session, Brady and Watson had a chance to meet. When reporters asked Brady for his impression on the former Clemson star, he offered up some high praise.

"He's had such a great college career and got picked by a great team," Brady said. "So watching him play, he has a great future. He has all the ability and it was great to meet him."

Watson is in a battle with Tom Savage for Houston's starting quarterback position.

In his lone preseason game, Watson completed 15-of-25 passes for 179 yards and rushed three times for 24 yards and a touchdown.
