Hours after Oklahoma was upset on the road by Kansas State, the Sooners' rival fell in an upset loss of their own. Texas has gone down.

The Longhorns, ranked No. 15 in the latest top 25 poll, have been upset by TCU.

Texas fell to the Horned Frogs, 37-27, in the second major Big 12 upset of the day.

Longhorns fans are not happy with head coach Tom Herman. This is Year 3 for Herman in Austin and fans were expecting more of a jump this season.

Texas' loss to TCU drops the Longhorns to 5-3 on the season, surely out of College Football Playoff contention and, most likely, out of New Year's Six bowl game contention.

Herman is now getting ripped by Texas' fans on Twitter.

It doesn't get much easier for Texas moving forward.

The 5-3 Longhorns are set to play Kansas State, which just upset Oklahoma, in two weeks. Texas also has games remaining against Iowa State, undefeated Baylor and Texas Tech.
