Top 2019 Athlete Announces His College Decision

One of the top athletes in the 2019 class has announced his college decision. He's headed to the Big Ten.

Marquis Wilson, a four-star ATH who's projected to be a wide receiver at the college level, has committed to Penn State. The 6-foot athlete out of Avon, Conn. chose PSU over Alabama, Florida and Ohio State, among other programs.

The Connecticut native announced his decision on Twitter.

"I’m 100% committed and would like to close down my entire recruitment," he says.

This is a big-time pickup for James Franklin and Co. Wilson is ranked the No. 299 overall recruit in the country by 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Wilson is Penn State's sixth commitment in the 2019 class.

PSU's class is ranked No. 32 in the country.
