Brant Lawless, a top defensive tackle recruit, is one of the biggest commits in Tennessee's 2018 class. The four-star defensive tackle is the fourth-highest rated recruit in the Volunteers' class.

His future with the program is reportedly up in the air, though. Reports say that Lawless has yet to report to campus.

It's unclear what is going on. Lawless himself seems confused by everything.

Rivals.com has more details:

Lawless will not be in Knoxville for either June or July summer courses and his future with the program is uncertain.

"I'm not really sure what is going on," Lawless said. "It's frustrating."

When asked if the hold up was grades, himself, or Tennessee, he sounded unsure of what the hold up currently is.

"I honestly could not tell you," Lawless said. "I have no idea. I just don't know."

Tennessee's 2018 class is ranked the No. 19 class in the country by 247Sports. Not getting Lawless would be a major loss for the Vols.
