Michigan's football program took a sizable just last week, when one of the Wolverines' top recruits in the 2019 class announced he was backing off his commitment.
Te'Cory Couch, a four-star athlete, announced one week ago today that he's decided to open back up his recruitment. He announced the decision on Twitter.
Well, seven days later, he's found a new home.
Couch is headed to Miami.
Here's the full announcement:
The athlete and defensive back is ranked the No. 37 overall prospect in a loaded recruiting state of Florida. Couch had previously been committed to Tennessee.
He flipped from the Volunteers to the Wolverines in mid-April, but that decision didn't last long.
Miami has been hot on the recruiting trail, and was seen as the new favorite for the in-state recruit after his decommitment from Michigan. It's a big pickup for the Hurricanes, who sit at No. 8 in the country with their 2019 recruiting class.
