Former TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin is being accused of domestic violence by his girlfriend Sabrika Bailey.
Current Seattle Seahawks quarterback Trevone Boykin, who starred at TCU in college, is being accused of domestic violence by his girlfriend, Sabrika Bailey. Bailey reportedly told Kevin Reece of WFAA in Dallas, Texas, that an argument over a text message led to Boykin choking her out and eventually breaking both sides of her jaw.
Bailey says she came to in a puddle of blood and was dragged to a bathtub before eventually being taken to the hospital. She says that Boykin fled the hospital and "never returned" after the staff starting asking them questions separately.
Here's more, via WFAA:
"So he goes into a choke. I remember him choking me and I'm trying to calm him down. And I just couldn't. And I blacked out. I just couldn't calm him down at all,” Bailey told WFAA.
"The pressure was just hard. The pressure got hard to where I just remember just collapsing completely. And I just woke up in a puddle of blood on the kitchen floor. My whole right side was full of blood on the kitchen floor."
"And I've never seen that much blood. I thought I was bleeding from somewhere else cause it was so much blood, completely," Bailey said.
According to WFAA, Boykin is now under investigation by the Mansfield Police.
Boykin went undrafted out of TCU in 2016 but landed with the Seattle Seahawks. He's been a backup to Russell Wilson since.
