As one Tagovailoa gets ready to make his NFL draft decision, another received his first college football offer.
Alabama star Tua Tagovailoa, who suffered a season-ending injury, is expected to make his NFL draft decision in the next month. Meanwhile, his first cousin, Tuli Tagovailoa, reportedly received his first scholarship offer.
According to Simone Eli with CBS 42, Maryland has offered QB Tuli Tagovailoa. He is in the eighth grade and will be a member of the 2024 recruiting class.

The college football world will be full of Tagovailoa’s for the foreseeable future. Tua’s little brother, Taulia, is close to completing his freshman season.
He’ll be in college football until at least the 2022 NFL draft, which won’t leave much time until Tuli is ready to make his collegiate debut.
Maryland head coach Mike Locksley has experience with the Tagovailoa family. He coached Tua as Alabama’s offensive coordinator before taking over as the head coach of the Terrapins.
After finishing the season with a 3-9 record, Locksley will need to improve if he wants to be around when the 2024 class comes in.
