One of the best rivalries in college football won't be taking place for several weeks. Week 6 of the college football season will see Oklahoma and Texas face each other in Dallas, Tx.

The game, scheduled for October 6, just received its kickoff time and channel. FOX will televise the Red River Rivalry and kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. ET.

Here's the info from Oklahoma's official Twitter page.

Fans don't seem to be happy with the 11:00 a.m. CMT kickoff time. It's a tough ask for fans to get up early and make it to Dallas for the game, but the stands are likely to be packed regardless.

Texas takes on TCU this weekend and travels to Kansas State before the matchup with Oklahoma. Meanwhile, the Sooners have home games against Army and Baylor before facing the Longhorns.

Oklahoma looks to stay undefeated while the Longhorns are hoping to move to take down yet another ranked opponent and join the AP Poll.
