Tyler Hilinski's Younger Brother, Ryan, Is A 2019 QB Recruit

Orange Lutheran star quarterback Ryan Hilinski signals to a teammate.

The deceased Washington State quarterback has a younger brother who's also a QB.

Washington State quarterback Tyler Hilinski died on Tuesday afternoon. Police suspect the death was a suicide.

Hilinski, 21, started multiple games for the Cougars this past season. He was expected to be the starter in 2018.

Washington State released multiple statements on the tragic news, calling Tyler a great person. "He was an incredible young man and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him was better for it," head coach Mike Leach said.

Many of Hilinski's teammates and coaches, along with media members who covered him, took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the quarterback. You can view those tweets here.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hilinski family at this time. One family member to speically pray for is Ryan Hilinski, Tyler's younger brother.

The younger brother is a quarterback, too. He's a 2019 quarterback recruit out of Orange, Calif.

Hilinski took to Twitter late on Tuesday to ask everyone to keep his family in mind. "Please keep my family in your prayers tonight," he wrote.

The 6-foot-3, 218-pound quarterback is a pro-style QB like his big brother. He's ranked the No. 13 pro-style QB in the 2019 class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings. One recruiting analyst has projected him to commit to Ole Miss, though he has offers from Arizona State, Duke, South Carolina and Washington State.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Ryan and his family as they go through this tough time. Rest in peace, Tyler.
