UNC vs. Duke preview:

The Tar Heels dominated Georgia Tech and got the win last week, 48-20. This week, they once again enter the match-up as heavy favorites with a high powered offense that can score at will. The Tar Heels are averaging an incredible 34.2 points a game. The Tar Heels defense leaves something to be desired, but they've played well as of late, allowing 20 points or less in their last three games.

After upsetting Notre Dame in week four, things have gone poorly for Duke. Since then, the Blue Devils have lost four of their last five, and the ACC schedule doesn't get any easier, with match-ups against UNC, Pitt and Miami to round out the season. The defense can keep this team in games—they held Louisville to just 24 points—but the offense struggles to contribute at times. They're a year or two away from being a solid team.

UNC has won the last two match-ups.

UNC vs. Duke prediction:

UNC takes this one. Though I like Duke freshman quarterback Daniel Jones, his talent isn't enough. The Blue Devils will be able to hold their own—and might even lead—in the first half, but the second half will be a different story. The UNC offense is too explosive and there are far too many weapons.
