The top recruit got injured at Nike's "The Opening" on Sunday.
Greg Emerson, a four-star defensive lineman in the 2018 class, had a scary injury on Sunday afternoon.
The Tennessee native suffered a lower-body injury during a drill at Nike's "The Opening" showcase camp.
While the injury reportedly looked bad, apparently it's not as serious as it could have been.
Barton Simmons, a recruiting expert for 247Sports, says that Emerson could be back on the field as early as four-to-six weeks.
That's great news.
Emerson, a 6-foot-3, 296-pound prospect, is ranked the No. 5 defensive tackle and No. 76 overall recruit by 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon and Tennessee, among others, are recruiting him hard.
The Vols are believed to be the favorite.
