College football season is back, and Saturday morning, ESPN College GameDay is airing its first episode of the year. The fans in South Bend ahead of the Notre Dame vs. Michigan game have brought it from a sign perspective.
There aren’t a ton of signs dedicated to Meyer – which makes one wonder if ESPN is censoring them – but there are a few. The one you’ll see below is easily the most clever.
Many believe that Meyer lied during his Big Ten Media Days press conference about whether he knew about 2015 allegations of domestic violence against former wide receivers coach Zach Smith.
As such, one fan photoshopped a long nose onto Meyer’s face – implying he’s Pinocchio. Check it out:

It’s a simple sign that gets across the message pretty easily.
Ohio State will take on Oregon State today, and the Buckeyes are expected to win in a rout. It’ll be interesting to see if they come out of the gate slowly.
Meyer, meanwhile, is suspended for his team’s game today – as well as his team’s games against Rutgers and TCU. He can coach the team during practice starting Sunday.
