Urban Meyer was pretty good at the whole coaching college football thing. It's looking like the former Ohio State head coach will be good at the TV thing, too.

FOX has debuted its new college football pregame show this morning, which features Meyer along with Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush, Brady Quinn and host Rob Stone.

The show is meant to be somewhat of a competitor for ESPN's College GameDay, which has dominated the pregame show market for years.

Meyer has brought an intriguing coaching presence to the show.

The former Ohio State head coach is being praised for his early work on the pregame show. His performance was highlighted by this segment in which explained the evolution of the run-pass option offense.

Meyer is hoping his show on FOX can take away some viewers from GameDay.

“We’re in direct competition with ESPN’s College GameDay,” he said, per SI.com. “They are the best, and they’ve had a 25-year head start. Our goal is to make a dent.”

The show airs on FOX from 11 a.m. to noon E.T. It'll carry right into FOX's big noon game, which today features Meyer's old team in Ohio State.
