Urban Meyer Issues Injury Update For Ohio State FB Star Nick Bosa

ohio state issues injury update on nick bosa

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is currently speaking at his first weekly press conference of the 2018 season, as he's now back from his three-game suspension.

Unsurprisingly, most of the questions to Meyer are regarding his suspension, the investigation and everything that happened with Zach Smith and his ex-wife, Courtney Smith.

However, there is some football to discuss.

Meyer updated the injury status of Ohio State star defensive lineman Nick Bosa. The Buckeyes' defensive lineman left Saturday night's game against TCU with an apparent lower-body injury.

ESPN reported during the game that Bosa suffered a "lower abdomen strain."

Today, Meyer updated Bosa's status, saying he will not play this weekend. Bosa is continuing to undergo tests and will be further evaluated.

Bosa has been one of the best players in the country this season. His play during Ohio State's first two-and-a-half games was earning him some Heisman Trophy buzz.

Ohio State should be just fine against Tulane, but the Buckeyes are set to travel to State College, Pa. in two weeks. That will be a big one.
