It's been quite a day for Urban Meyer, Ohio State and the rest of the college football world, which has been following this Buckeyes' saga since the school's Board of Trustees meeting began at 9 a.m. E.T. We haven't learned much since.
As of right now, Urban Meyer and his wife, athletic director Gene Smith and his wife, and university president Michael Drake and his wife are all inside the building, along with the rest of the Board of Trustees.
It's unclear what exactly is happening inside. There is quite the scene developing outside, though.
The location of the meeting is public and dozens of media members have been plopped outside, awaiting word. In the hours that have followed the meeting's start, fans and others have begun to join the crowd.
Lori Schmidt tweeted out a photo of the crowd at the loading dock area:
Doug Lesmerises tweeted out a photo of a bunch of people crowded around Urban Meyer's (empty) car. It is a nice car.
There's even security trying to control everything.
The latest word from inside the building is this: There's a debate between the board and the president when it comes to a suspension or an immediate reinstatement.
"I’m told principal sticking point is OSU President Drake wants a suspension of Meyer & Board of Trustees does not. We wait to see if resolution occurs tonight," Clay Hall tweeted.
Bucknuts' Dave Biddle has shared this, too.
Stay tuned. It doesn't look like this is going to end anytime soon.
