Urban Meyer is very familiar with the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry. Meyer coached the Buckeyes for seven seasons, meaning that he saw nearly two full classes of what the Wolverines had to offer.

Meyer is now a college football analyst, and he recently gave a list of the hardest Big Ten defensive players to coach against during his tenure.

Given his familiarity with the rivalry and the level of talent that has come through both schools, it's no surprise that a Michigan player was at the top of the list.

Meyer says Jabrill Peppers was the hardest player to prepare for on the defensive side of the ball. Peppers was used all over the field at Michigan, from safety to linebacker to some rare appearances on offense.

As an example of his versatility, he had an interception, punt return touchdown and multiple rushing touchdowns in 2016 during his final season with the Wolverines.

Peppers went on to be a first-round pick in the NFL, and he's enjoyed a successful NFL career with multiple teams. He is now a member of the New England Patriots, a great fit with how Bill Belichick will move players around on defense to take advantage of matchups.

Meyer may no longer be a coach, but it's clear that the greatest rivalry in college football is still on his mind.
