Urban Meyer is back at the analyst's desk this weekend for the first time in nearly a decade. Ahead of Week 1 of the college football season, the former Florida and Ohio State head coach identified one game he's especially looking forward to.

Speaking to Gerry Dinardo of the Big Ten Network, Meyer said he was "jacked" for the game between Northwestern and Stanford. The two sides are slated to face off on Saturday afternoon at Stanford Stadium.

Meyer explained that he found the match very compelling because of how evenly matched they seem to be. He was very fond of head coaches David Shaw and Pat Fitzgerald.

For Northwestern specifically, he felt that seeing them play on television will be great for the program's development.

The 2018 season was a banner year for the Wildcats. They won the Big Ten West Division before losing to Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Northwestern also made their ninth bowl appearance in the last 11 years, winning the Holiday Bowl over Utah.

As for Stanford, they finished unranked after finishing 9-4 with a Sun Bowl victory over ACC runner-up Pitt.

Look forward to more elaboration from Meyer this weekend as he makes his debut on the new Fox Sports Big Noon Kickoff College Football Pregame Show.
