Urban Meyer remains on paid administrative leave at Ohio State, but several Buckeyes fans showed up to the north end of Ohio Stadium this evening to show support for their national title-winning head coach.

An "Urban Meyer rally" was planned a couple of days ago by an Ohio State fan who goes by "Tennessee Jeff." Details for the rally have gone viral on social media and dozens of Buckeyes fans showed up tonight.

Photos of the rally are going viral on social media.

ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit tweeted a message for the Ohio State fans that are there.

"Ummmm.....excuse me, woman to the right in the shades..Brett McMurphy, who broke the story, doesn’t work for ESPN," he tweeted.

There aren't that many Ohio State fans in attendance, but there is a notable one: the father of former star running back Ezekiel Elliott. Stacy Elliott had tweeted at the event's organizer, saying he wanted to show up.

Elliott previously said that they stand with Meyer.

So, he showed up tonight:

Ohio State, meanwhile, said on Sunday night that the investigation into Urban Meyer should be completed within two weeks. He went on paid administrative leave last Wednesday night.
