Urban Meyer's status at Ohio State remains in limbo - the Buckeyes' head coach was placed on paid administrative leave on Wednesday night - but some of Buckeye Nation are planning something big for their head coach.

An Urban Meyer rally is apparently taking place at The Horseshoe on Monday night. The rally, planned by an Ohio State fan who goes by Tennessee Jeff, will take place on the north end of the stadium.

"A peaceful rally at Ohio State University for Coach Urban Meyer just because I thought, I was thinking there's been so much negative press with Coach Meyer,” Hamms said on his Facebook page.

"Please if you live anywhere near Columbus come down I'll buy you lunch when we're down there. Thank you and go bucks,” he added.

Hamms has since issued some updates for the rally on Facebook. He wants Ohio State fans to bring Urban Meyer signs like you see on College GameDay.

Hamms says he drove from South Carolina to Ohio over the weekend.

"I am driving from South Carolina to Ohio currently. I'm having a lot of people ask me specifics on the rally and so forth. Please be patient with me, I will get back to every single person by lunchtime tomorrow. I will not be getting to Ohio until about midnight or 1 tonight.

The friendly rally to show support for Ohio State head football coach Urban Meyer will be Monday at 6 p.m. outside the north entrance of the stadium North rotundra," he wrote on Facebook.

His posts about the Urban Meyer rally have received hundreds of likes on Facebook. It appears there will be a decent crowd for the rally outside Ohio Stadium on Monday night.
