Urban Meyer may be an analyst, but he had plenty of run-ins with Alabama during his time as a head coach.

Meyer coached against Alabama during his time with Florida and with Ohio State, often in some of the biggest games of those particular seasons.

During Fox's Big Noon Kickoff on Saturday, Meyer previewed the Alabama-Kentucky game.

Meyer was complimentary to the Tide during the segment, but when asked to give the famous Alabama rallying cry by Heisman winner Mark Ingram, Meyer declined.

"Roll Tide, coach," Ingram said, pointing at Meyer and hoping he would repeat the phrase.

"No," said Meyer.

Alabama was a thorn in Florida's side for much of Meyer's run with the Gators, as Florida faced Alabama in back-to-back SEC title games in 2008 and 2009.

Meyer and the Gators won in 2008 en route to the national title, and Alabama returned the favor the following season before winning a championship of their own.

A few years later, Meyer - now at Ohio State - would defeat Alabama in the semifinals of the first-ever College Football Playoff before winning his third national championship as a head coach.

Meyer became an enemy to several fanbases during his time as a head coach, and it appears that Alabama is no different.

If his refusal to say the rallying cry is any indication, there's still some animosity on both sides all these years later.
