Why let the best player in college football have an opportunity to field a kick?
The opening play of the Ohio State-Penn State game was a wild one. Nittany Lions' star running back Saquon Barkley returned the opening kick 97 yards for a touchdown, putting PSU up, 7-0, before the game even really started.
Ohio State has had problems with the kickoff all season. Urban Meyer had said earlier this week that the problems had been corrected.
Why even let Barkley have the chance to return the kick? Just kick the ball into the end zone.

There's really no excuse to not just kick the ball into the end zone moving forward. If the Buckeyes' kickers aren't able to do that, well, find someone who can.
