Iman Marshall will return to USC next season.

A former top recruit is foregoing the NFL Draft and returning for his senior season.

USC announced on Friday afternoon that star corner Iman Marshall will be back for the 2018 college football season.

Marshall is a former 5-star recruit from the 2015 class where he was the No. 4 overall recruit in the nation.

He announced his return on Instagram.

I came to USC three years ago with big expectations for myself and for this university. Want to help bring this University back to the top and feel we got a lot more left to accomplish, time to go and get it! It’s an honor to be a Trojan. Fight On Forever…

Before the season, Todd McShay released a mock draft that had the Steelers taking Marshall near the end of the first round. Marshall is likely a first-round talent, but injuries sidelined the star corner for a few games this season.

Another year in the college football spotlight couldn't hurt.
