USC vs. Washington preview:

USC started off the season by being walloped 52-6 by the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Trojans then went on to lose two of their next three, putting them at 1-3 after four games of the season. Since then, USC has won five in a row, and sits just outside of the AP Top 25. During their five game win streak, the Trojans offense has exploded, with at least 40 points in four of the five games. The lone exception came in the Trojans 21-17 win over a very good Colorado defense.

Washington remains undefeated on the season after decimating Cal by a score of 66-27. Chris Petersen, head coach of the Huskies, has his team playing inspired, and likely headed for a Top-4 spot when the College Football Playoff rankings come out Tuesday night.

The Trojans and Huskies have played 83 times in history, with the Trojans holding a 50-29-4 advantage.

USC vs. Washington prediction:

USC is a completely different team than the one that got crushed in its opener by Alabama. They have one of the most talented rosters in college football, but that doesn't necessarily mean a team will be successful.

Since freshman quarterback Sam Darnold took over the starting role, the Trojans offense has been firing on all cylinders. With the way Washington puts up points, the Trojans will need a big showing from their offense.

This will be a close one, but Washington will do enough to get the win.
