On Friday afternoon the college football bowl season will continue with three solid contests. Purdue and Auburn will get things started before Syracuse takes on West Virginia and then Iowa State will take on Washington State to close out the action.

The second contest on the slate could see a significant upset, according to one Vegas computer.

Without starting quarterback Will Grier on the field, the Mountaineers enter the game against the Orange as a 2.5-point underdog. OddsShark, however, likes the Mountaineers to walk out with a win.

The Vegas computer predicts the Mountaineers will win by at least a touchdown. OddsShark predicts a 41.8-34.2 win for West Virginia without its starting quarterback.

It's a bold prediction from the Vegas computer, though the Mountaineers have shown a potent offense no matter who the quarterback is.

West Virginia and Syracuse kick off on Friday afternoon at 5:15 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
