The regular season finale will arguably feature the most anticipated game of the year, as the Michigan Wolverines face the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Both programs are trending in completely opposite directions over the past few weeks. Yesterday, the Buckeyes found themselves clawing for an overtime victory against Maryland. The Terrapins were a two-point conversion away from winning the game.

Fortunately for the Wolverines, the majority of the team's struggles came in the opening weeks. Despite trailing at the half against Indiana on Saturday, Michigan was dominant in the second half.

With Jim Harbaugh's crew rolling as of late, it appears that oddsmakers could have the Wolverines as a 3.5-point favorite in Columbus.

Ohio State is rarely an underdog at the Horseshoe, as only five other teams have been favorites since 2000.

Nonetheless, Michigan continues to prove its the better team. Shea Patterson is leading the offense to new heights, while the defense constantly applying pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Michigan hasn't won since the 2011 season, but that might change next weekend.

The Wolverines and the Buckeyes will kick off at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.
