Top programs in college football are conducting their spring games today, which should give fans a little taste of action. Out of all the plays going viral from this afternoon, the most epic moment comes from the LSU Tigers.
LSU finished last season with a victory over UCF in the Fiesta Bowl. The Tigers should have a stout defense and strong rushing attack for 2019.
Although the leading rusher for LSU, Nick Brossette, has moved on from the program, head coach Ed Orgeron should have plenty of options. Clyde Edwards-Helaire might be the favorite to become the workhorse in the backfield, but second-year tailback Chris Curry will not got away quietly.
During the third quarter of the spring game, Curry trucked Kenan Jones on an explosive run. His power on the play looked reminiscent of a young Marshawn Lynch.
It’s not an ideal welcoming for Jones, who is making the transition from wideout to safety.

Curry saw only eight carries this past season for the Tigers. However, he did show flashes of excellence in high school and was the No. 15 tailback in the 2018 recruiting class, per 247Sports.
Perhaps he’ll get the opportunity to shine with LSU in his second year.
