Video: ESPN's Laura Rutledge Hit Hard On Sideline

Laura Rutledge speaks into a microphone.

On Saturday afternoon, Georgia hosted UMass in yet another cupcake game for the SEC before the final week of the regular season. There was no overlooking the opponent for the Bulldogs on Saturday, though a huge SEC title game match-up with Alabama awaits.

Georgia currently leads 66-27 and the Bulldogs finally got a chance to see their star freshman quarterback in action. Justin Fields took over for Jake Fromm and Georgia hasn't missed a beat on offense.

Despite the stellar play on the field, it's something that happened on the sideline that grabbed everyone's attention.

As sideline reporter Laura Rutledge attempted to deliver a report, she was hit hard from two players.

Here's video of the incident.

Rutledge bounced right back up like the warrior she is. Getting hit by collegiate football players can't feel great.

Hopefully she didn't suffer an injury. We'll be waiting for Rutledge to comment on this later in the game.
