Veteran quarterback J.T. Barrett challenged freshman QB Dwayne Haskins to the famous circle drill.
Name a college football drill more famous than the circle drill. We'll wait.
Perhaps "Oklahoma" is the only drill run at football camps that is more well-known and practiced. Well, just before Ohio State's spring game kicked off, a group of Buckeyes gathered at center field to challenge one another to the circle drill.
From young guns to aged veterans, almost every Buckeye was accounted for -- including junior quarterback J.T. Barrett.
Barrett, who decided to return to Ohio State rather than enter the 2017 NFL Draft, entered the circle and called out freshman quarterback Dwayne Haskins.
The pair duked it out, but age prevailed.
Barrett couldn't let the youngster make him look bad, right?
It's all fun and games until you get called out in the circle drill. Ohio State took the field for warmups and drills before its spring game officially kicked off at 12:45 p.m. E.T.
Pletny of recruits joined the Buckeyes for their spring game, and several alums took in the game as well, including Ezekiel Elliott.
The game can be seen on the Big Ten Network.
