On Friday afternoon, the Iowa Hawkeyes faced off against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a battle of Big Ten rivals. Iowa raced out to an early lead, but Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez led the Huskers to two fourth-quarter touchdowns to knot the game at 28.

The Hawkeyes used a walk-off field goal to get the 31-28 win and move to 8-4 on the season.

After the game, head coach Kirk Ferentz stopped by the sideline reporter for a postgame interview. Ferentz had some blood coming from his mouth.

When asked about it, Ferentz said he "just headbutted [quarterback Nate] Stanley.

Check it out.

We're sure Ferentz isn't worried about a little spilled blood after getting his eighth win of the season. The win triggers a $500,000 bonus for the head coach as his team is going bowling yet again.

Hawkeyes fans will now wait to see who they're playing in a few weeks. Stay tuned.
