Lane Kiffin was brutally honest when he was asked about the benefit of playing Ohio State to open the 2019 college football season.
"Uhh, money," Kiffin said with a laugh.
Ohio State gave FAU a nice payday to come to Columbus to open the season. The Buckeyes have given the Owls a nice beatdown, too.
The Justin Fields-led Buckeyes are leading Kiffin's team, 35-6, early in the fourth quarter.
It's looking like Lane could use a reminder of that big payday, too:'
A lot of college football head coaches are probably going to look like that when they're facing Ohio State this season.
Fields has looked the part of an elite five-star QB recruit, throwing for 212 yards and 4 touchdowns, while adding 62 yards and one score on the ground.
Ohio State and FAU are playing on FOX.
