Christian Hackenberg is back playing professional football today.
The former star Penn State quarterback, who spent a couple of seasons bouncing around the NFL, is starting for his Alliance of American Football league team this afternoon.
Of course, there’s already a Hackenberg moment that has gone viral on social media.

There are some different rules in the Alliance of American Football league, but it’s not that different, Christian. You’re still down on contact there.
Hackenberg is starting for the Memphis Express of the Alliance of American Football, which has eight different teams.
The former star college football quarterback is hoping to turn his career around in the league.
Hackenberg is optimistic about his future.
“I don’t think I’ve thrown the football this good ever,” Hackenberg told Penn Live back during the AAF draft. “Like, I wish I had this five years ago. But the good news is I’m 23, I’m sure I can do it and I did it. Now it’s just about going out and playing.”
The game is being televised on CBS Sports Network.
