Rivalry weekend continued on Friday afternoon with another helping of college football games. The Thanksgiving Day games delivered as promised, with enough fireworks for the whole family - including a brawl in the Mississippi State-Ole Miss game.

A brawl in the Texas-Kansas game could have come in the first quarter after a very questionable late hit, however, cooler heads prevailed.

Despite the vicious late hit, though, the officials did not call a penalty. As a result of the non-call, fans watching from home erupted on Twitter to trash the officials for their decision.

Here's the play in question.

A late hit wasn't called, but certainly warranted.

Texas jumped out to an early 7-0 lead, but Kansas is driving late in the first quarter. Can the Jayhawks shock the world with an upset win over the Longhorns?

Texas is fighting for a potential spot in the Big 12 title game - a win over Kansas and a West Virginia loss to Oklahoma seals a Texas-Oklahoma Big 12 title game.
